Browse the Marketplace
The Marketplace is where you browse and hire AI teams and employees. Find the right role, click "Hire," and start working.
TL;DR
Open the Marketplace from the top navigation. Teams are front and center (Marketing, Sales, Support, and more). Individual employees are in a secondary section below. Click "Hire" on any card to add them to your workforce. Click "Interview" on an individual employee to preview their profile before committing. Everything is customizable after hiring.
How the Marketplace Is Organized
The Marketplace has two sections:
Teams (Primary Section)
Pre-built teams are displayed as large cards at the top. Each card shows:
- Team name and description
- The team leader and their role
- Number of specialist employees included
- What the team delivers
- A "Hire" button
When you hire a team, the system creates all member employees automatically, assigns the leader, and drops you into the leader's chat. The leader introduces the team and asks what you need.
Individual Employees (Secondary Section)
Below the teams section, you can expand a section showing individual employee cards. Each card shows:
- Role and job title
- Key skills and personality
- A "Hire" button and an "Interview" button
Search and filters. The individual employees section has a search bar and filters for Department, Level, and Tools to help you find the right role quickly.
Build Your Own. If none of the pre-built roles match what you need, click "Build Your Own" to create a custom employee from scratch.

Step by Step
- Click Marketplace in the top navigation bar
- Browse the team cards (primary) or scroll down for individual employees (secondary)
- Optionally click "Interview" on an employee to preview their profile
- Click "Hire" on a team or employee card
- Done. You land in the chat. For teams, you talk to the leader. For individuals, you talk to the employee directly
Tips and Tricks
- Start with a team. Pre-built teams come with a dedicated leader, smart defaults, and sprint planning. Less setup than managing individuals one by one.
- Interview first. Click "Interview" to see an employee's full capabilities before hiring.
- Customize after hiring. The marketplace gives you a starting point. Add or remove skills, change tools, and adjust the persona afterward.
- Hire multiples. You can hire the same template more than once. Each hire gets a unique name and independent configuration.
- Use filters. If you know the department or tools you need, use the filters to narrow down quickly.
Good to Know
- Hiring is free. No credits are consumed when you hire. Credits are only used when employees do work. Check your plan for employee and team limits.
- Bench team. Individual hires start in the Bench team (unassigned). Move them to a specific team from the team's Members tab.
- Hired badge. Once you hire a template, its card shows a "Hired" badge in the marketplace.
- Build Your Own. Custom employees start blank. You configure their skills, duties, tools, and persona from scratch. Give them the same setup as a pre-built template and they behave identically.
- Intent preservation. If you click "Hire" before signing up, your selection is remembered. After signup, the hire completes automatically and you land in the right chat.

Q: Does hiring cost credits? A: No. Hiring is free. Credits are consumed only when employees process your requests. Check your subscription plan for employee and team limits.

Q: Can I hire the same role twice? A: Yes. Each hire is independent with its own name, settings, and configuration. Customize them differently for different projects.
Q: Where does a new hire appear after I click "Hire"? A: For teams, a new team appears in the sidebar and you land in the leader's chat. For individuals, the employee appears under the Bench team in the sidebar and you land in their chat.
