Explore the Virtual Office
See your whole workforce in one living 3D Office. Teams sit together in their own rooms, work at their desks, walk around, gather in the meeting room, and hang out in the lounge. Click anyone to chat with them right there or jump into their tasks.
TL;DR
The Virtual Office is a 3D view of your company. Each team has its own room with desks, the leader and the members sit together, and you watch them work, move, and socialize in real time. Click an employee to message them or open their tasks on the spot. It turns an abstract list of employees into a place you can actually walk through.
How It Works
Every avatar's behavior is driven by that employee's real state and status, not a canned animation.
| Status | What you see |
|---|---|
| Working | The employee walks to their desk, sits down, and types with a thinking-dots animation |
| Awaiting your input | At their desk with a pulsing ring around them |
| Error | At their desk with a rotating red marker |
| Paused | At their desk, sitting still |
| Available | Standing in their team's circle (or the lounge, for bench employees) with a gentle idle sway |
| Suspended or terminated | Not shown in the office at all |
Between those states, employees also roam: they drift within their team room, visit the lounge social circle, stop by the meeting room, or use a hot-desk, then return, pausing 10 to 20 seconds at each stop. Everyone paths around desks and walls instead of walking through them.
What You See
| In the office | What it means |
|---|---|
| Team rooms | Each team gets its own room. The leader and up to five members sit at their own desks; the leader's avatar has a distinct color |
| Name label | Every employee's first name is always visible under their avatar |
| Speech bubble | Shows what a working employee is doing right now |
| Lounge | Employees between tasks, and bench employees who are not on a team yet, gather and idle here |
| Meeting room | A stop employees roam to for shared downtime |
| Hot-desks | Where bench employees work when they pick up a task |
What You Can Do
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Find an employee | Look for their team room, or spot them by name and avatar |
| See who is working | Anyone typing at a desk is on the job right now |
| Message them | Click the employee to open their info card, then type in the built-in message box, no need to leave the office |
| Open their chat or tasks | The info card also has Chat and Tasks buttons that take you straight there |
| Move around | Zoom in and out, pan, and reset the view with the on-screen controls |
| Sit back and watch | Turn on the cinematic tour and let the camera drift across the office on its own |
| Share a clip | Use Share a clip in the top bar to capture a screenshot or short video of the office |
Where to Find It
- Go to your Company dashboard
- Open the 3D Office tab
- The 3D Office loads with your teams in their rooms
- Click any employee to message them, open their chat or tasks, or just explore
Tips & Tricks
- Use the zoom and reset buttons in the top-right of the canvas to reorient quickly in a large office
- The cinematic tour is a good way to show the office to someone else, it drives itself
- If credits are low or your email is not verified yet, the in-office message box shows the same gate you would see in the main chat, with a one-click way to fix it
Good to Know
- It is live. What you see reflects your real workforce: real teams, real employees, real names and avatars
- Working means working. An employee at their desk typing is genuinely running work, not a decoration
- Bench employees wait in the lounge. Anyone not yet on a team idles there until you place them on one, and moves to a hot-desk when they pick up work
- It is desktop only. The 3D office does not have a mobile layout
- One click to act. The office is a way in, not a dead end. Click an employee to message them, chat, or see their tasks
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is the office showing my real employees? A: Yes. Every team room, desk, and avatar maps to your actual workforce. Names and avatars are the real ones.
Q: How do I start a conversation from the office? A: Click the employee to open their info card. You can type a message right there, or click Chat to open the full conversation.
Q: What does it mean when an employee is at their desk versus in the lounge? A: At the desk and typing means they are actively working. In the lounge means downtime, socializing or, for employees not yet on a team, waiting to be assigned.
Q: Can I see what an employee is working on? A: Click their info card and choose Tasks to see their current work, the same task board you use everywhere else.
Q: Do I have to use the office to manage my team? A: No. It is a visual way to see and reach your workforce. Everything you do there, chat and tasks, is also available from the normal lists and tabs.
